Yeah, so not a good week last week. Though I did get a bunch of stuff transferred from my Tumblr to this blog. I have a few GIF projects I'd like to do, but my current laptop will likely die if I so much as breathe on it. Time to start saving for a new one, I think. 

I started this story after a prompt on the Move Your Seat Up discord. Posting for WIP Amnesty Wednesday.

If you're too young to remember, Early Edition was a cute show from 1996 that ran for 4 seasons. It was about a regular guy who suddenly starts receiving the newspaper a whole day in advance, and decides to try and save the world. 

I really loved this concept for Sam, so I wrote a short meet-cute between him and Bucky.

Hawaii Five-0 - Halfway Home - Part 1

Danny's life starts to go downhill with Steve's departure, made worse by the fact that Steve has dropped out of communication almost entirely. When a report comes in of an incident of vigilantism in Maine by a man matching Steve's description, Danny embarks on a journey to find his missing friend.

Genuinely, Danny tries not to sweat the small stuff. It goes against his very nature, but he is trying. He’s self-aware enough to acknowledge that without Steve around to listen to his usual griping, it’s sucked the fun out of it, and it’s getting harder to pretend that he doesn’t really mean it when he complains about how much he hates his life.( Read more... )

Peter watches the minutes tick by on the airport departures board with a put upon expression. Both of his legs lost all sensation half an hour ago when he elected, stupidly, to sit with them dangling over the back of one of the vacant plastic bench seats. But he's committed to a posture of nonchalant nonconformity, and he is rather enjoying the glare from the middle-aged flight attendant sitting at the desk opposite.

But to be fair, the glare might be more on account of his two young companions and their mouth noises. Don't get him wrong, he's swapped a lot worse than a bit of spit, but they've hardly come up for air since they sat down. He's both tremendously bored of it and impressed at the same time.
